Working with the B.C. Education Ministry, BC TEL Interactive has connected 11 schools to the Internet through high-speed satellite connection using DirecPC. Many of the schools are in rural or remote locations. About one hundred B.C. schools are to have similar connections by the beginning of the 1996/97 school year.

De concert avec le Education Ministry de la Colombie-Britannique, BC TEL Interactive a raccordé 11 écoles à l'Internet par des liaisons satellite à grande vitesse, à l'aide du service DirecPC. Bon nombre de ces écoles sont situées dans des régions rurales ou éloignées. Une centaine d'écoles de Colombie-Britannique seront également reliées à l'Internet d'ici au début de l'année scolaire 1996-1997.
